JAY CASERIO
Head Coach
|
Coach Caserio is
entering his 3rd season as the head basketball coach of the Gilbert
Tigers. In his first season as the head coach the Tigers were
Co-Fiesta champions, earned a #2 ranking in the 5A 1 state
tournament and they also won the Phoenix Union Christmas tournament.
Coach Caserio was also named Fiesta Region COY. During his second
season the Tigers captured the Mesa High Thanksgiving tournament,
earned a #13 ranking in the state tournament and were semi-finalists
in the 5A 1 state tournament. Coach Caserio was also named the East
Valley Tribune COY.
Coach Caserio graduated from Northern Michigan University and earned
his Master’s degree from Northern Arizona University. He teaches
science at Gilbert and is in his tenth year of teaching. He has been
married to his wife Christy for 8 years and they have two daughters
Madison (6) and Meisha (4).
Coach Caserio is passionate about coaching and teaching the details
of the game. This season Coach Caserio looks to lead a young, but
determined and hard working team to a successful season and back to
the state tournament. |

DR. BRADLEY TINKER, D.C.
Assistant Varsity Coach
This is Coach Tinker’s first year
coaching at Gilbert High School. His life’s desire has been to coach
high school or college basketball. Coach Tinker has coached many
years in local youth basketball programs. While working on his
undergraduate pre-med studies, Coach Tinker played college
basketball at the College of Eastern Utah. He then moved to Kansas
City, Missouri and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Science and
Nutrition and his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He retired from active
chiropractic practice in 2007.
As a hobby, Coach Tinker has been
doing commercial real estate development for the past 7 years and
owns multiple properties in the valley. Coach Tinker is married to Marnie for 23 years and they are the parents, coaches, and teachers
of 5 children; Jared (20), Megan (17), Logan (15), Statton (13)
Harrison (4).

BRIAN LOE
Head Coach
|
This is Coach
Loe’s third year as a coach in the Gilbert High School Boys
Basketball Program. He is in his second year of teaching Social
Studies at Gilbert High School, and his fourth year teaching in
the district. He is from Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and
graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks,
North Dakota.
He is married to Ashley, who teaches at Greenfield
Junior High School. They have a son, Parker, who was born in
September. Coach Loe is passionate about the game of basketball,
and is very excited to continue as a coach for Gilbert High
Schools’ quality program.

JOSH JAMES
Junior Varsity Assistant
|
This is Coach
James first year coaching at Gilbert High School. He will be
assisting the JV team this year and is very excited. Coach James
played 3 years on Varsity at Highland High School and went on to
play one year at Mesa Community College. He is ready and
enthusiastic about the up coming season and is very excited to
be a part of Gilbert Basketball this year.

ANDY MOELLER
Freshman Head Coach
This is Coach Moeller’s fourth
year as a coach and first in the Gilbert High School Boys
Basketball Program. He is in his fourth year of teaching Social
Studies at Mesquite Junior High in the Gilbert school district.
Coach Moeller is from Bettendorf, Iowa, and graduated and played
four years of basketball at South Dakota State University in
Brookings, South Dakota.
As a player at SDSU Coach Moeller won over 100 games and scored
over 1000 points. He was 1st Team All North Central Region and
Honorable Mention D-II All American. Coach Moeller is excited to
be a part of Gilbert’s basketball program and help develop the
freshmen class. |

JP PRICE
Freshman Assistant
This is Coach Price's
first year coaching at Gilbert High School. He grew up in Gilbert,
winning state championships at both Greenfeild Jr. High and Gilbert
High School. He is currently working on his bachelor's degree in
Business Management at the University of Phoenix.
Coach Price and his
wife Becky currently live in Gilbert with their two dogs. He is
excited to return to the Tiger program, bringing his knowledge of
basketball and love for the game.
